About Kim

Well, hello there!  I'm Kim- 

a passionate, tell-it-like-it-is, glass half-full kind of gal out to change the world in my own little way.  I am the artist/painter/creator behind trueREDbetty. 

After 25 years of the corporate life, I just wasn't satisfied. I felt a hole in my soul and a burning desire to find my "happy". Introspection has always been my speciality but I dove deeper and got my life coaching certification. I wanted to connect and help others and coaching seemed to be a natural fit.  Amazingly throughout the process, I ended up finding myself.

I've always been the creative sort.  As long as I can remember I've always loved to create but I couldn't justify creating as it wasn't sensible.  So I shelved my true self for decades to do the "right" thing.  What I didn't realize is that I was in reality doing it all wrong. I wasn't following my calling, if you will, to just be me instead of fitting myself into a pretty box. And you know what, now that I'm out the box I really love the view, freedom, and lack of self-imposed constraints.  It's a beautiful world!

trueREDbetty is the manifestation of creativity + my take on life right this second + enjoying this moment.  I'm trying to change my little bit of the world one painting at a time.
